This is really a pop at what I call ‘synthetic experience’… not the real thing… what with ‘elf and safety’ and ‘risk assessment’ etc… it certainly is not a criticism of lady sailors… all the ones I know are a bit scary and do a thoroughly good job… while I am down below praying to God down the Big White Telephone..
